As Mike and Nicole, owners and founders of Ridge Creek Ranch, realized that there is a big gap for the tourism industry in and around the Lac Du Bonnet area, they kick started their dream to open up a ranch. They currently offer equestrian services including but not limited to; board, training, riding lessons, pony rides for birthday parties or community events, horse drawn services like wagon/carriage rides, movies, weddings, family fun and more! The new goal is to grow their company enough to offer trail rides for larger groups as well as adding on a petting zoo so everyone of all ages can enjoy their day at the ranch!

As with all new ventures, it presents some challenges as well. Their most prominent challenge has been trying to expand and grow. They have funded their company entirely, which can allow for some challenges in itself when it comes to marketing, and jobs alike. However, Mike and Nicole have been able to use local contractors, and also purchase supplies locally. With trial and error, Ridge Creek Ranch continues to succeed on many levels.

Ridge Creek Ranch has accomplished many large milestones since opening. These include acquiring the largest pony company after the previous owners retired and getting their onsite facility ready for the public. The next milestone in tow is to obtain the necessary equipment to provide equine therapy for both horses, and people. With these milestones, jobs will be created, and more recognition of Ridge Creek Ranch will be able to happen with the help of North Forge East.
